This painting of mine depicts a woman with arm extended as if warning the viewer to stay back.

Inspired by the peasant paintings of the past I thought I might do one of my own design. The heavy cloth makes for a dramatic framing of the face. The laborer and the sanctity of their daily toil is not to be taken lightly.
